Guests are welcome to visit the nearby Adirondack Wildlife Refuge and Rehabilitation Center, where friends and family can meet the resident wolf, and see educational demonstrations with birds of prey, like Great Horned Owls, Barred Owls, Screech Owls, Red-Tailed Hawks, and a crazy raven named Abie the Fishman, who was rehabilitated, but hangs around to entertain visitors. In the evening, Camp Beaver Creek offers Satellite TV, internet access, a pool table, and a comfy family room with an open-hearth wood stove, where you may listen to the crackling logs, while reviewing the day's adventures. |
