Steve & Wendy met in the seventies, had some laughs, moved to Kent Lakes (about sixty miles above NYC) to raise Dan, a pole-vaulting  UPENN graduate, personal trainer and Veterinarian, Emily, a budding artist and 2004 SUNY Purchase graduate, Jessica, a multi-talented twenty-one year old, and Alex, an eleventh grade athletic whirling dervish, and Joshua, a fine 12th grade student and athlete, along with our dogs (Chino,  Jack and Roscoe), and a ragtag semi-tame wildlife menagerie of fish, turtles, frogs, bats, snakes, birds, gophers, chipmunks and deer, which ate everything we place out for them, and everything we'd rather they didn't eat, from rhododendrons to tulips to conifers! In 2002, we moved to the Adirondacks, where Alex and Joshua attend Lake Placid High School.

We all love tennis, skiing, canoeing, kayaking, trampolining, wildlife, the entire state of Alaska, state and national parks throughout Canada, and the US (in particular, Banff, Jasper, Denali, Glacier, Olympic, Yosemite, Big Bend, Pacific Rim, Texas Gulf Coast parks, and the Everglades), Vancouver Island, Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket and Block Islands, and last, but never least, the breathtaking Autumn vistas in New York's Adirondack Mountains.
