The Wildlife Refuge itself is a great educational place where the family will learn all about nature, from wildlife to livestock and pets, and their relationship and importance to human civilization. Steve is friendly and responsive. The property is large and basically places you in the middle of the forest. Nice kitchen and a very nice rustic, cozy feel throughout the cottage. The sauna is wood fired and needs 2+ hrs to heat up, something to keep in mind. We thoroughly enjoy the hot-tub and the sauna as well as the surroundings.

The cozy atmosphere and well-equipped amenities made for a memorable getaway. Highly recommend! Stephen was a very responsive host and gave clear instructions. Truly enjoyed staying in this cabin.
